Requests and messages
If you contact me through the booking request or contact form, I process your details (name, email, phone, travel dates, number of guests, message) to answer your request and handle the rental (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Your details are stored in my booking system (renting.matillavigil.com) and forwarded to me by email.

Legal registration requirement
If you book, Spanish law requires me to record the details of all travellers and report them to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior (Real Decreto 933/2021; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Before your arrival you will receive a link to the online check-in, which has its own privacy information.

Storage period
Requests that do not lead to a booking are deleted after 12 months at the latest. Booking and registration data are kept for as long as the law requires.

Hosting and email
The website and the booking system run on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in a data centre in Falkenstein, Germany. Emails are sent via goneo (Germany). I have a data processing agreement with both (Art. 28 GDPR).

Server logs and protection against misuse
When you visit the website, the server processes technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested) to deliver the page and prevent misuse. If you send me a request or message, I also pass your IP address to my booking system for this purpose (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I don't use this data for anything else and keep it only as long as necessary. After a request you will receive an automatic confirmation by email.

Cookies
This website stores your language choice in a cookie and uses a strictly necessary cookie for the admin area. There are no tracking or analytics services and no external fonts.

Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Just write to me at mail@matillavigil.com. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, in Spain the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
